What every rep needs to know before they travel. Read this before you register — your manager will assume you have.

Your Checklist — Before You Go

Get every box below checked before you travel. If something on this list is not done, you are not set up to make money on this blitz — and in some cases you will not be going.

Register

1 WEEK MINIMUM

Submit the blitz registration form at least 1 week before the blitz starts

Headcount locks one week out. No registration means no housing and no travel — no exceptions.

Confirm your uniform size when you register

Uniforms need a 2 week lead time to be ordered.

Travel and Housing

BEFORE THE CUTOFF

Flight approved and booked before the registration cutoff

Approved flights are booked at least 1 week out with a $500 limit per flight. Anything over the limit is on you.

Know your housing situation before you land

Address, check-in time, who you are rooming with, and what you need to bring. Beds are assigned off the locked headcount — late adds are not guaranteed a spot.

Know your ride situation in market

Who you are riding with, whose car is on the hood, and how you are getting to and from the airport.

Access

BEFORE DAY 1

RepCard — logged in and added to the blitz calendar

Every appointment you set on the blitz gets booked on the blitz calendar.

Setters — you can pull up and complete the setter form

Closers — Aurora, the finance portal, and any additional installer portal for that market

Test every login before you travel, not at the kitchen table.

Know the Rules

BEFORE YOU TRAVEL

You have read the blitz rules and understand the blitz adder

Registering for a blitz means you are agreeing to them.

You have attended the pre-blitz trainings

At least 2 Sales Process Zoom trainings happen before the blitz. If this is your first blitz, they are mandatory.

Bring: tablet or laptop and charger, phone charger and battery pack, door knocking shoes, water, and enough uniform shirts for the full blitz.

What You Are Agreeing To — Blitz Rules

Registering for a blitz means you are agreeing to these rules.

Full Participation

  • If Trio is fronting your travel, you are required to be there for the entire blitz. Partial blitzes are not approved.
  • Leaving early or showing up late to the blitz puts your travel reimbursement and your spot on the next blitz at risk.

Trainings

  • Attend every training. Trainings run no longer than an hour — be on time and be present.
  • Late or not paying attention is 20 push ups.
  • Closers sitting an in-home appointment at training time are excused.

Housing

  • Housing is covered by Trio. Follow all housing and Airbnb rules — occupancy, check-in and check-out, quiet hours, parking, and no extra guests.
  • Keep the Airbnb clean. Clean up after yourself daily and leave it the way you found it.
  • You are responsible for any charges from the Airbnb — damage, extra cleaning, lost keys, smoking fees, late checkout. Those charges get billed back to you.
  • If something is broken when you arrive, report it to your blitz manager that day so it is not charged to you later.

On the Doors

  • Be on your hood on time and work the hood you are assigned. Do not move hoods without clearing it first.
  • Use RepCard on every door and get every appointment on the blitz calendar.
  • Get the bill at the set and complete the setter form. Nine out of 10 installs had a bill at the set — it is the single easiest thing you can do to get paid.
  • Set proper expectations at the door. Bad expectations cost the closer the sit and cost you the check.
  • Represent Trio well in the market. You are in someone else's neighborhood — follow local knocking hours and any no-soliciting rules.

How You Get Paid on a Blitz

  • A $0.20/W blitz adder applies to every account sold on the blitz where the setter or the closer had travel or housing covered by Trio.
  • If neither the setter nor the closer had travel or housing covered, standard PPW applies.
  • If your flight is fronted and you do not have an account to cover it, the cost is split between Trio and your Recruiting Manager.

Bottom line: register a week out, show up for the whole thing, be on time to every training, treat the house like it is yours, and work your hood. Do that and the blitz pays for itself.
